Where The Skeleton's Play Online Promo Shot
HOTLY TIPPED SKEWED DUO WHERE THE SKELETONS PLAY RETURN WITH STUNNING NEW RECORD!

“It would be easy to write this off as Deftones-worship. But, while the Sacramento five-piece experiment to avoid, or mask, stagnation, WTSP use experimentation as a means to reinforce already solid and interesting foundations.” 10/10 Metal Discovery

Sounding like a hybrid of the gritty messed-up grooves of Deftones bred with the spawn of Tool, under the cunning orchestration of Trent Reznor, Where The Skeletons Play return and are poised to move through the ranks of the UK scene with their explosive new record ‘Serotonin Blueprints’, out 27th May 2013.
Born in 2011 as a purely studio-based project, Where The Skeletons Play are the innovation of Stitch (Vocals) and Bones (Instrumentation). As they pull from a span of notable influences ranging from the likes of Pelican, Deftones, and Tool, through to Nine Inch Nails, Where The Skeletons Play can be broadly labelled as ambient Hard Rock. However, the dynamic duo undeniably manage to carve their very own indelible mark on proceedings. As you sink into the woven texturing of the band, you’ll soon discover that they are set well apart from their contemporary counterparts. Progressive, yet accessible, the band have fastidiously crafted a sound that is imaginative, while harnessing their genuine ability to write a killer tune.
Since their formation, Where The Skeletons Play have had a steady output of strong material. The mysterious two-some released their debut EP ‘Generation Wars’ in the Summer of 2012 and it soon garnered strong praise and notoriety from fans and many sectors of the underground press for its unique brand of Off-Kilter Hard Rock. And now, the wirey upstarts are armed with their exciting new six-track EP ‘Serotonin Blueprints’, which swerves and pulls the listener right from the off. The record is stacked with inventive riffs, intriguing time-signatures, ambient guitar tapestries, and hooky melodies that will leave you craving for more. With further tracks waiting in the wings, it’s apparent that WTSP are destined for great things. So, look out –- Where The Skeletons Play are only just getting started.

OUR FINAL HOUR to release ‘The Moving House’, on 24th June‏

Our Final Hour Online Promo Shot

our final hour to unleash their bonecrushing new EP

Hailing from the shores of the Isle of Man, the industrious five-some draw from a glut of areas from the power of ‘Defeater’ to the ferocious energy of ‘Stick To Your Guns’ and ‘Pianos Become Teeth’. By harnessing these influences, yet unmistakably etching their own unique signature on their undertaking, the band have produced a sound that intelligently merges Hardcore, Metal, and Punk to powerful effect
The beginnings of the band were formed in 2008, and as is the case with many musicians, the pathway to the upper ranks of the music scene was not a smooth one. The band’s route has had its fair share of broken friendships, musical differences, line-up changes, and also a slew of financial difficulties. However, after a progressive five years, the resilient quintet have solidified personnel, relentlessly toured throughout the UK & Europe, and have built an impressive underground following by releasing two blistering EPs.
Our Final Hour now charge forward with the official release of their third EP ‘The Moving House’. Spitting out six tracks of venomous hardcore, the EP is laden with brawly riffs and enticing beats, and is driven by ferocious passion and true belief. From the visceral guitar swirls and pounding riffage of the opener ‘Four Years’ to the infectiously stomping beatings of their forthcoming video single ‘Autumn Breeze’, and on to the dynamic and snarling grit of ‘#LSBC’, it’s abundantly clear that Our Final Hour are extremely well drilled in the art of delivering a hell of a biting hardcore tune. This is backed even more so with the closing tracks to the EP where ‘Evergreen’ takes the listener down a weaving doom-laden corridor to hell and back, before the EP’s namesake, ‘The Moving House’, completes the record majestically with its stocky beats and atmospheric guile, not to mention, it’s colossal refrain.

The early roots of the band stem back to Josh and Nicky C’s school days, where the duo regularly jammed. Over time, they hooked up with Will and began to lay the early foundations for Death By Ki. However, it was not until 2011, when Chris joined the ranks, that things really started to solidify for the four piece. Since then, the lively quartet have pinned down countless shows across the UK supporting the likes of  ‘Gallows’, ‘Revoker’, ‘Romeo Must Die’, ‘Evile’, and Australian metallers ‘Be’Lakor’ along the way.

After vigorously sharpening their set, the band took up residency at Junkyard Studios in Newport, Wales, where the four piece put down tracks for their first official EP with Jeff Rose (former guitarist for Dub War and Skindred) who has recently worked with the likes of Bullet For My Valentine, Revoker, and Funeral For A Friend.
Death By Ki came out of the studio with their debut EP, ‘The Right Of Might’, which immediately lunges forward with stunning pace, spewing out frantic drumming and hi-octane riffs to striking effect. Ramming five songs of intensely contagious vocal lines, a burly rhythm section, and high paced Kirk Hammett-esque licks, the band have produced a blazing and potent slice of modern metal.
