REAPER IN SICILY Return with explosive new single.

Reaper In Sicily Online Promo Shot

HIGHLY TOUTED UK HI-TEMPO ROCK CREW RETURN WITH BLISTERING NEW SINGLE AND DEBUT ALBUM!

UK rock upstarts “Reaper In Sicily” are braced to up the ante with their brand new single ‘Horizons’, out 25th March, taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Islands’, which is also due for national release on 10th June.
Combining the contagious fluency and dexterity of The Blackout and The Used meshed with the biting attack of Rise Against, Reaper In Sicily have crafted a sound that will blow your face right off. The South Wales riff merchants have everything in place to set loose their spanking new single ‘Horizons’, and debut album, as they look to explode in 2013.

Originally spawned in 2009, Reaper in Sicily hit the scene with instant impact and soon won best unsigned live act by Kerrang! Magazine. The self-proclaimed ‘Power pop’ quintet then went on to sign a record deal with Search and Destroy Records and Raw Power Management. The band’s first single ‘We Are The Show’ graced TV screens throughout the nation, and the record received widespread critical acclaim, including radio airplay on BBC Radio One.

Sadly though, in March 2010, Matthew Jenkins (guitarist) was diagnosed with leukaemia, and the band were instantly placed on a hiatus until the guitarist was well enough to play again. Reaper then made an astonishing come back at the Reading and Leeds festivals in support of their debut EP ‘Eden’. The Welsh five-some then went on to release their sophomore EP ‘Chapters’ and extensively toured throughout the UK  in support of it, playing with everyone from Kids In Glass Houses, The Subways, Max Raptor, Attack! Attack!, Mallory Knox, Hawthorne Heights, Fightstar, The xcerts, Straight Lines, I Spy Strangers, Evarosa, Hildamay, and many many more. Towards the end of 2012, Reaper In Sicily bedded down at Longwave Studio with Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral For A Friend & Kids In Glass Houses) at the controls, to record their self-funded Debut Album ‘Islands’.

Now loaded to the gills with a stunning debut album, the spirited five-piece release their record’s first single ‘Horizons’, out Monday 25th March. ‘Horizons’ is a glaring statement of intent from the band. Hugely anthemic with cut throat riffery, soaring melodies, and raucous energy, the single is destined to propel the quintet’s profile, and with further touring in the works for the late summer/autumn period, and the national launch of the album in June, there’s no stopping Reaper this time!
=The album, ‘Islands’,  is set  for national release on 10th June, and new single ‘Horizons’ is out Monday 25th March.=

Alan Bonner releases new song Talia‏ as Free Download

New album, Balladeer, out March 4th and gig dates!

Alan-Bonner

London based troubadour Alan Bonner is offering gorgeous ballad ‘Talia’ for free.  The track oozes grace, with beautiful strings harnessing Alan’s voluptuous vocals and showcases his wonderful talent for crafting stunning music, powered by passion and artistic flare.

His brand new album is receiving some fantastic critical acclaim, and his tour has kicked off to a sensational start, where he’s performing Balladeer and more.  His shows are renowned for being an awesome night. Time Out London boasts “Alan Bonner plays glam-tinged Piano ballads. You will want to steal his fabulously vintage outfits.”

Alan explains: “‘Talia’ is an ode to my best friend of the same name. We met at  on the first day of University and have been thick as thieves ever since The Lyric  written in panic on her birthday one year when I was on the dole and too skint to buy her a birthday present. It was only ever meant to be a silly gift for her and I never intended to release it originally but when I played the demo to my old band members they convinced me to start playing it live when we were touring with my first album.

It’s funny because it’s one of the songs that people seem to respond to the most, and now I think it’s one of my best songs. I like to imagine that she is out there in the crowd each night when I play it at the end of the show cheering me on, even on the nights when I know that she’s not there. If there was ever anyone worthy of being immortalised in song it’s her.”

Upcoming Tour Dates:

March

7th West St Live, Sheffield
12th The Shed, Leicester
18th Mr Wolf’s, Bristol
21st The Brunswick, Hove
27th The Underbelly, Hoxton, London 8.30pm

HUNDRED DAYS unleash new single’Whatever Happened To You’ on 4th March‏

Hundred Days Online Promo shot
Ascending South West Rock Crew ‘Hundred Days’ continue to climb with their new video single ‘Whatever Happened To You’, out 4th March, taken from their new album ‘Mission Exodus’.

Formed in 2007 and born in Yeovil, Somerset, Hundred Days unleash a sound that flirts cunningly between classic rock and heavy metal. Drawing from everyone from ‘Slash’ and ‘Guns ‘n’ Roses’, to ‘Led Zeppelin’ and ‘AC/DC’, Hundred Days offer a unique take on the heavy rock genre.
The hotly tipped trio have been busy making new friends and gaining more fans. With a strong gigging work ethic which has seen the band play the length and breadth of the UK (including a series of high-profile festival appearances throughout the South-West area, as well as supporting Hugh Cornwell,  from ‘The Stranglers’), there’s no stopping Hundred Days as they move up through the gears. Added to the fact that the threesome have recently released their brand new album ‘Mission Exodus’, which racked up widespread national press recognition and rampant coverage throughout the underground, the sky is the limit for these South-westerners.
Hundred Days now plough forward again with their video single ‘Whatever Happened To You’, which is lifted from Mission Exodus. ‘Whatever Happened To You’ is a killer blues rock cut that tips its cap to ‘Queens Of The Stoneage’ and those beard kings, ‘ZZ Top’. The track is also backed by a cool ‘quirky’ video that warrants your attention.  The single is available from 4th March but can be accessed right now at http://hundreddays.co.uk/mp3s/Mission_Exodus/Hundred_Days-Whatever_Happened_To_You.mp3 . The video will be unveiled on Monday 4th March; hit up the band’s Facebook and website for updates.

MONUMENTS to release single as a fundraiser for cancer sufferer’s treatment

Monuments will release ‘Memoirs’ single on 20 October to raise funds for cancer sufferer’s treatment

Monuments will be selling the previously unreleased track ‘Memoirs’ as a special single from 20 October, to raise money for the treatment of a close friend of the band, who has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer.
Pseudomyxoma Peritonei, or PMP, is a cancer of the appendix and is so rare, that it can only be treated by a small number of specialists, none of whom are in the UK. Treatment must be sought internationally and the costs are likely to exceed 10s of thousands of pounds.
Check out the Memoirs trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3S28R8tHWZI
Swanney, Bassist Explains: “Hi everyone, We will be releasing Memoirs via bandcamp as of 20th October. All proceeds will be going to our good friend Laura, who recently found out she has a condition called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (or PMP), a rare form of cancer of the appendix that effects less than one in a million people. We will be releasing Memoirs to raise money for her as there are very few people in the world who are able to treat this condition and none are in the UK due to its rarity. She will have to travel abroad for the treatment and it will be extremely expensive. There will be a minimum donation of £2 for the track, however it’ll be possible to give as much as you want, so please give generously. We would like to give a big shout out to Neema Askari, Joe Garret, John Sprich, James Monteith, Mel Schmidt, Steve Joh and everyone at Century Media for making this possible so quickly, Thank you.”
The band would also like to raise awareness of this condition as it is often misdiagnosed due to its extreme rarity. For further information please read below.
The track will be available to buy from 20 October online at the band’s bandcamp, and physical copies available on from the merch desk on the Euroblast tour at all the shows:
Oct 21 – Audio – Brighton, UK

ALL SHE WROTE to stir up the country with debut single ‘Weathered’, out 26th November‏

UK ROCK BEASTS ALL SHE WROTE RELEASE DEBUT SINGLE AND PREPARE FOR NATIONAL LAUNCH!

London newcomers All She Wrote spew out an engaging slab of heavy alt-rock in way of their debut video single ‘Weathered’, which is available from all digital platforms from Monday 26th November.

Bursting out of the London Boroughs, All She Wrote were conceived at the tail-end of 2011 and consist of Connor Crooks (Vocals), Marc Smith (Drums), Jonny Page (Lead Guitar) and Tommy Shillibeer (Rhythm Guitar). These finely tuned individuals strive to concoct and deliver a sound that is distinctive, bold, and enticing, and they hit the mark. With a multitude of influences stemming from Bring Me The Horizon and Young Guns, to The Blackout, All She Wrote spit out an appealing meld of post-hardcore and alternative rock that will reward fans old and new.

Despite their short life span, the band have already played a series of successful shows in the nation’s capital, as well as racking up dates throughout the South East. However, with the national launch of the band’s debut single ‘Weathered’, which suitably showcases the young scamps uncanny craft for heavy guitar parts and melodic vocals, the band are primed to rise to a national level. Added to the fact that the London rockers are also set to hit the studio to record their debut EP and have plans for a UK tour next year, 2013 will be an epic year for the youthful upstarts.

The Mouth Of Ghosts new single ‘When The Sun Sets’ released 29th October via Red Dragon Records

London quintet The Mouth of Ghosts are to release their new single ‘When The Sun Sets’  with Red Dragon Records on October 29th.

The Mouth of Ghosts prides itself on a unique creation: a fusion of alternative rock and trip-hop, with lashings of atmosphere and tension in their tracks.

Having met in early 2011, founding band members Simon Langford and Marco Italia met Alla Seydalieva, matching her stunning vocals with haunting, ragged guitar melodies and moody bass. Drummer Phil Page joined the trio in late 2011 and in March 2012, Valerie Deniz (vocals, synth) made the band a five.

The final creation, the current incarnation of The Mouth Of Ghosts exudes sexy alt-rock textures and layers of atmosphere and intrigue. In parts their arrangements are sweet and pretty. In others, they can be forcefully brilliant.

In August 2012, The Mouth of Ghosts signed to Red Dragon Records.  The single ‘When The Sun Sets’ will be released on 29th October 2012 (with ‘Close‘ as a B-side), and has already received support from BBC Radio 6 as well as numerous other stations such as The Reputation Radio Show.

“When the Sun Sets is effortless, ethereal, and gorgeous. Soaring, sensuous vocals set in a shimmering widescreen production underpinned by an irresistible groove and the best bass-playing I’ve heard all year. Deservedly picked as a Fresh Fave by readers on our blog recently.” Tom Robinson, BBC6 Music

“The track is stunning, one of those songs you would cross deserts for, its atmosphere and darkly tinged breath an equally heated landscape.” The RingMaster Review
