With a clear focus and a hearty affection for catchy up-beat alt-rock, high flying 7 Day Weekend are all set to break loose armed with a reboot of their enticing self-titled EP and stunning new single, ‘’Endless Doses’’. Pulling inspiration from the likes of Kids In Glass Houses, Young Guns, and You Me At Six, 7 Day Weekend cunningly weave infectious melodies and up-tempo song structures to stunning effect.

Comprised of Clayton Leah (Rhythm Guitar), Tom Hancox (Lead Guitar), Calan Nickle (Vocals), John Handy (Drums) & Dan Hancox (Bass), Warrington born ‘7 Day Weekend’ wasted no time cutting their teeth on the local scene, playing a host of shows throughout England and Wales, following the release of their 4 track Acoustic Debut EP in the Spring of 2012. The EP caught the attention of Gavin Butler (The Blackout) and Neil Starr (Attack! Attack!), who invited the fresh-faced five piece to open their Manchester date of the Ghosts & Echoes Tour. Soon after, the band were hand-pick by Feeder for the sole support on their April Tour, granting the band an audience of 1000 hometown fans.

The five-some continue their ascent and widen their reach with the national release of their newly reworked self-  titled EP which showcases their strong emotionally driven lyrics, killer hooks, and contagious melodies.

The band’s self-titled EP is unleashed this September and is packed to the rafters with catchy guitar riffs and infectious hooks, from the opener, ‘’Ghosts Of Me’’ which perfectly kicks off the record in superb style, to the dynamic and gloriously contagious, ‘’Hide’’. The band have produced a killer record and plan to take it to the road; they have just announced a sweeping tour to coincide with the re-issue of the EP and single launch, including tour dates as far north as Newcastle and as far south as Brighton, including support dates with A Day Overdue and Hey Alaska. With these profile dates and a growing reputation for delivering an explosive live performance, the energetic quartet will certainly be propelled to the giddy heights of the UK Brit-Rock scene.
