The Hype Theory: new single, new bassist and Valentine’s gift!‏

Pop punkers The Hype Theory release new single “You’re Going Home Alone” on 12 March, brand new special Valentine’s day song “Where We Started” and announce new bassist
Female fronted pop-punkers The Hype Theory will release their huge sing-a-long anthem “Your Going Home Alone”, taken from the highly acclaimed debut album, “Glory Days”, on the 12 March via Small Town Records. The single will feature two b-side tracks and will be supported by a hilarious The Only Way Is Essex themed video,  paying homage to their home turf!

The band have also recorded a new song titled “Where We Started” as Valentine’s gift for fans, or more specifically for those who have had a less than perfect relationship. A brand new music video for the song will be premiered on 14 February and the track will be released as 50 limited edition physical CDs packaged in a Valentine’s day card, hand signed by and dedicated from the band.

Check out what the band had to say about it:
It’s been a long time coming, but the band’s search for a full time bassist is finally over! Jack Divey joins the band and is readying himself for the hectic international touring schedule ahead!
Katy Jackson, vocals, commented: We were looking for a new bassist for a long time and it was really hard to find someone that would just fit in straight away and had the same mentality as the rest of us. When Jack turned up to meet us we all knew straight away that he was perfect for the band. He brings a new fresh vibe and is so easy to get along with; we are so happy to have him in the band and this feels like the perfect line up now.
