UP AND COMING YORKSHIRE TERRIERS ‘WHEN GIANTS COLLIDE’ LAUNCH THEIR ATTACK ON THE MASSES WITH THEIR DEBUT EP ‘NO ONE IS SAFE’, OUT 27th FEBRUARY 2012.


    When Giants Collide are  all geared up for the release of their debut record ‘No One Is Safe’ which manages to capture the band’s fierce intensity and brutal edge. The EP is available from 27th February 2012 and promises to make real waves throughout the scene.

    When Giants Collide are a highly dedicated quintet that create a sound, with ear-shattering riffs and pounding beats, that is both dominant and anthemic. The band ink forceful cuts, delivering their metal beatings with the true intent and unbridled passion that demands and deserves attention.

Bursting out of West Yorkshire, When Giants Collide were formed at the tail end of 2008, and from the get-go they wanted to create a sturdy sound that tied progressive leanings, rhythmic punch and undeniable groove; they have certainly achieved their goal. The Bradford Bruisers have pulled from many influences ranging from Meshuggah and Fear Factory, through to Sikth and Between the Buried and Me; however When Giants Collide take from their peers and add a fresh tilt and perspective. A swift change in personnel in 2010 greatly progressed the fivesome, and it was at this time that they quickly began to gel, beginning to play a host of shows throughout the region. The Northern scamps have since rounded up a number of impressive support slots with the likes of Viatrophy, This Is Colour, Silent Screams, Martyr Defiled, Texas in July, Panic Cell, and Sworn Amongst – to name a few.
