OUR FAMOUS DEAD to release I am Human EP on 14th Nov

Hi-Octane Electronicore crew Ourfamous Dead release their debut  EP ‘I Am Human’ on Monday 14th November 2011, through all digital stores. Packing a heavy punch, with contagious cuts, commanding synth work and boundless energy, Ourfamous Dead are ready to make their mark.

Pulling from a host of influences ranging from ‘The Blackout’ and ‘My Passion’ through to ‘Enter Shikari’, Ourfamous Dead fuse their influences to express a heady mix of high-paced melodic electronic punk fueled with infectious hooks. Having already amassed an impressive underground following throughout the UK, spawned from solid touring, the live-wired five-some have also impressively racked up a series of shows with ‘Atlas & I’, ‘Evarose’, ‘Dave McPherson (INME)’, ‘Tyler Mae’, ‘Funeral for a Friend’, ‘Gallows’, ‘ISPYSTRANGERS’ and Welsh superstars ‘The Blackout’.

Ourfamous Dead were born late 2009 and originally hailed from West Cumbria – a good place for lapping up views and making friends with fish, but not a great launching pad for five highly-motivated and inspired young guns. With this in mind, the quintet upped sticks and re-located to Leeds. After numerous rehearsals and countless shows in their local haunts, the band set about touring throughout England and began work on their debut record in the Spring of 2011.

The Yorkshire quintet are now ready and eager to take their music to an even wider plain, sporting their explosive debut EP ‘I Am Human’. Loaded to the max with pounding riffs, enticing hooks and bursting with high levels of energy, the record ideally showcases the band’s electronic-induced metallic punk sound which will be nationally unveiled this November.
