Miniature Dinosaurs reveal video for new single, ‘Alligator‏’

Scottish pop-rockers Miniature Dinosaurs are proud to announce the release of their brand new single ‘Alligator’ through Saraseto Records on October 31st.

Having generated a swell of hype for themselves in their home territory, galvanized by support slots with artists such as Fenech Soler, Twin Atlantic and Johnny Foreigner, Miniature Dinosaurs have built a steady following thanks to additional support from blogs and extensive radio play. Ally McCrae at BBC Radio 1 Scotland even noted that the band harp ‘back to older Scottish bands, the likes of Orange Juice and Fire Engines, mixed with some straight up pop…’.

‘Alligator’, the band’s latest offering, is the follow up to a 7” single released earlier in 2011 that came out via Electric Honey, the label that kick started the careers of other great Scottish bands like Belle & Sebastian, Snow Patrol and Biffy Clyro.

Vocalist and guitarist Barry MacLean said:

“Alligator is a song that always goes down well at the live shows, which means two things; it is an obvious choice for a single, and we’re also having a lot of fun touring it around the UK. It’s a good introduction to the band for anyone who hasn’t heard of us before.”
