RISING UPTEMPO ROCK CREW SPIT OUT POWERHOUSE NEW EP, STUNNING VIDEO, AND UK TOUR!

Alt tunesmiths ‘Jet Pack’ drop their hugely impressive new EP through digital stores on Monday 6th May, along with a brand new video and UK tour.
West Midland new guns, Jet Pack, are set to make a hefty impression on the currently buoyant Brit-rock scene with their heartfelt brand of melody-drenched rock. Merging a sincere alternative edge with probing guitar rhythms and alluring emotive vocal lines, fused with strong post-punk DIY ethics, the hard working foursome take from the hooky fluency of Blink 182, the sheer rock dynamism of Foo Fighters, and the song writing dexterity of Jimmy Eat World. In the culmination, Jet Pack have produced a captivating sound that will pound right out of your speakers.

Formed out of university in 2008 and born in Cheltenham, Jet Pack consist of Dennis Cook (Vocals / Guitar), Paul Roberts (Lead Guitar / Vocals), Richard Beattie (Bass), and Sam Haskins (Drums), who were all brought together by their mutual love for pop-punk. Since then, the band have relentlessly toured the nation’s highways and byways, playing headline home town shows supporting Hype Theory, General Fiasco, Attention Thieves, and Hildamay, as well as playing acoustic slots before Blink 182 at the LG Arena in Birmingham. Jet Pack are also set to open with another acoustic slot for Biffy Clyro and City and Colour later this month. With a strong work ethos, aided by their memorably hi-octane live shows, everything is starting to fall into place for the band, as their growing fan-base will testify.

Jet Pack now stride forward as they step up to the plate with their new EP ‘Chasing Sunsets’. With esteemed producer Matt O’Grady (Youmeatsix, Deaf Havana) at the helm, the record is a heaving enterprise of strapping riffs and hooky cuts, gleaming with classy contagious melodies and considered up-tempo arrangements. From the stomping groovage and urgent intent of their new single ‘Back To Life’, to the sweeping contagious refrain of ‘Now I Know How John Locke Felt’, right through to the majestic and utterly tuneful ‘Heat Of The Moment’, and to the anthemic ‘All I Need’, the alt-rockers exert a snappy ability for solid melody and have unveiled a killer debut record that is sure to steer the band to giddy heights for the remainder of 2013 and beyond!

REAPER IN SICILY Return with explosive new single.

Reaper In Sicily Online Promo Shot

HIGHLY TOUTED UK HI-TEMPO ROCK CREW RETURN WITH BLISTERING NEW SINGLE AND DEBUT ALBUM!

UK rock upstarts “Reaper In Sicily” are braced to up the ante with their brand new single ‘Horizons’, out 25th March, taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Islands’, which is also due for national release on 10th June.
Combining the contagious fluency and dexterity of The Blackout and The Used meshed with the biting attack of Rise Against, Reaper In Sicily have crafted a sound that will blow your face right off. The South Wales riff merchants have everything in place to set loose their spanking new single ‘Horizons’, and debut album, as they look to explode in 2013.

Originally spawned in 2009, Reaper in Sicily hit the scene with instant impact and soon won best unsigned live act by Kerrang! Magazine. The self-proclaimed ‘Power pop’ quintet then went on to sign a record deal with Search and Destroy Records and Raw Power Management. The band’s first single ‘We Are The Show’ graced TV screens throughout the nation, and the record received widespread critical acclaim, including radio airplay on BBC Radio One.

Sadly though, in March 2010, Matthew Jenkins (guitarist) was diagnosed with leukaemia, and the band were instantly placed on a hiatus until the guitarist was well enough to play again. Reaper then made an astonishing come back at the Reading and Leeds festivals in support of their debut EP ‘Eden’. The Welsh five-some then went on to release their sophomore EP ‘Chapters’ and extensively toured throughout the UK  in support of it, playing with everyone from Kids In Glass Houses, The Subways, Max Raptor, Attack! Attack!, Mallory Knox, Hawthorne Heights, Fightstar, The xcerts, Straight Lines, I Spy Strangers, Evarosa, Hildamay, and many many more. Towards the end of 2012, Reaper In Sicily bedded down at Longwave Studio with Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral For A Friend & Kids In Glass Houses) at the controls, to record their self-funded Debut Album ‘Islands’.

Now loaded to the gills with a stunning debut album, the spirited five-piece release their record’s first single ‘Horizons’, out Monday 25th March. ‘Horizons’ is a glaring statement of intent from the band. Hugely anthemic with cut throat riffery, soaring melodies, and raucous energy, the single is destined to propel the quintet’s profile, and with further touring in the works for the late summer/autumn period, and the national launch of the album in June, there’s no stopping Reaper this time!
=The album, ‘Islands’,  is set  for national release on 10th June, and new single ‘Horizons’ is out Monday 25th March.=

Alan Bonner releases new song Talia‏ as Free Download

New album, Balladeer, out March 4th and gig dates!

Alan-Bonner

London based troubadour Alan Bonner is offering gorgeous ballad ‘Talia’ for free.  The track oozes grace, with beautiful strings harnessing Alan’s voluptuous vocals and showcases his wonderful talent for crafting stunning music, powered by passion and artistic flare.

His brand new album is receiving some fantastic critical acclaim, and his tour has kicked off to a sensational start, where he’s performing Balladeer and more.  His shows are renowned for being an awesome night. Time Out London boasts “Alan Bonner plays glam-tinged Piano ballads. You will want to steal his fabulously vintage outfits.”

Alan explains: “‘Talia’ is an ode to my best friend of the same name. We met at  on the first day of University and have been thick as thieves ever since The Lyric  written in panic on her birthday one year when I was on the dole and too skint to buy her a birthday present. It was only ever meant to be a silly gift for her and I never intended to release it originally but when I played the demo to my old band members they convinced me to start playing it live when we were touring with my first album.

It’s funny because it’s one of the songs that people seem to respond to the most, and now I think it’s one of my best songs. I like to imagine that she is out there in the crowd each night when I play it at the end of the show cheering me on, even on the nights when I know that she’s not there. If there was ever anyone worthy of being immortalised in song it’s her.”

Upcoming Tour Dates:

March

7th West St Live, Sheffield
12th The Shed, Leicester
18th Mr Wolf’s, Bristol
21st The Brunswick, Hove

HELLBOUND HEARTS release ‘Outside’ EP, on 29th April.‏

Helbound Hearts Online Promo Shot

Packing slamming punk rock thrusts and snarly melodic blasts with stout muscular riffs, UK trio ‘Hellbound Hearts’ are ripping up a storm in the UK, and their stock will surely rise with the national reboot of their debut EP ‘Outside’, out Monday 29th April 2013, through all digital outlets.

Formed during the middle part of 2011 by former Terrorvision bassist Danny Lambert, Hellbound Hearts went through the usual growing pains suffered by most new bands before they hit the perfect concoction of noise, created by Danny (Guitars and Vocals), and the former 98 Pages rhythm section of both Andy Black (Drums) and Jase Brooks (Bass Guitar). The punk rockers soon hit the tarmac and undertook a string of highly successful dates throughout the UK with the likes of The Black Spiders, The Virginmarys, Jettblack, Japanese Voyeurs, Terrorvision, and The Treatment.
After a hefty touring schedule throughout 2011 and 2012, the band went into the recording studio to lay down tracks for their debut EP and came out of the studio with ‘Outside’, an absolute killer record. The cut throat riffery of the record’s title track ‘Outside’ instantly grabs and pulls you in. Complimented by pounding rhythms and a contagious chorus, the song packs so much angular vibe and appeal that it’s impossible to shake off. Next up, the rock n’ rollers drop the tempo and amp up their endeavour with ‘Mr Cynical’, which undoubtedly stomps its way deep into your innards. Rolling on, ‘Sinking Ship’ picks up the pace again, sneering at you menacingly with fuzzed-up bass and chunky riffs aided by an uber-hooky refrain and a biting groove that sticks to you like Bondini! The record closes with a raucous piece of punk rock in the shape of ‘Hold Steady’—a cut that spews out boundless energy and gritty passion to complete the EP with great effect.
The spiky rockers take to the road in support of ‘Outside’ and will play: 4th April – The Shed, Leicester; 5th April – Dry Bar, Manchester; 6th April – The Packhorse, Leeds; 13th April – Dove and Rainbow, Sheffield; 19th April – Baker’s Vaults, Stockport; 20th April – Sanctuary, Burnley; 26th April – The Wee Red Bar, Edinburgh; 27th April – Pivo Pivo, Glasgow; 4th May – Fibbers, York. 10th May – The Rescue Rooms, Nottingham; 11th – May Lomax, Liverpool; 17th May – Marr’s Bar, Worcester; 18th May – The Ivy, Sheerness.

CRY HAVOC ‘New Life EP’, out 15th April.‏

High-Octane UK Metal rockers ‘Cry Havoc’ unleash their greatly anticipated debut EP ‘New Life’ on Monday 15th April 2013, available through all good online outlets.

Cry Havoc Online Promo ShotFlaunting an invigorating fusion of heavy metal, crafted by the power of Pantera, the swagger of Skid Row, and the attitude of Guns ’N’ Roses in their prime, Cry Havoc are here to spread their own concoction of Heavy Metal to the masses in 2013!
Born and bred in British South, Cry Havoc are a group of degenerates dead set on conquering the UK heavy metal scene. Comprised of the vocal power of Gavin Bolt, Tristan Gaskell cutting up guitar riffs, Chris ‘Crypt’ Lawman supplying Rhythm Guitar, Billy Kirk on bass, and Eliott Lipscombe pounding on the beats, the energetic five-piece have already created quite a stir for their raucous live shows, as Metal Hammer reviewer, Dom Lawson, concurs “Frontman Gav is running from one side of the stage to the other, bare-chested and swivel-eyed, and generally going berserk. [They] are treating their performance as if it were a headlining slot at Wembley.” Further, commenting about the bands’ recent explosive sold-out set at Hammerfest III, Lawson adds that “Cry Havoc churned out a splendidly raw and brutish din”. Cry Havoc’s live shows have also been described as an explosion of the senses, bringing the band to be described as the ‘illegitimate child of Pantera and Guns N’ Roses’. Highly driven on Sex, Jägermeister, and Rock N’ Roll, they own the stage—and no one can prise it from them!
With the live side of Cry Havoc firmly accomplished, and with recent successful supports with Gus G’s Firewind, The Dirty Youth, The Defiled, Revoker, Malefice, Warrior Soul, Jettblack, Voodoo Six, and Romeo Must Die, the metal rockers decided to hit the recording studio to begin work on their much anticipated debut record. The band headed to the renowned Nott-In-Pill Studio to lay down four tracks with the prestigious producers Martyn “Ginge” Ford and Matthew Bond, who have previously worked with Bullet For My Valentine, Slipknot, Trivium, and Skindred. Cry Havoc came out the studio armed with their stunning debut EP ‘New Life’. Loaded with crushing riffage capable of bursting arteries, the record is ram-packed with contagious hooks, driving rhythms, and ravenous riffs, and is an absolute must for any true heavy metal fan!

Black Market Serotonin put ‘Irons In The Fire’, out on 25th February‏

UK PROGSTERS BLACK MARKET SEROTONINRELEASE BRAND NEW VIDEO SINGLE THIS FEBRUARY WITH THEIR DEBUT ALBUM TO FOLLOW!

Black Market Serotonin Online Promo ShotHopefully bands like Black Market Serotonin will soon be acknowledged and praised for what they are: rock bands with a surfeit of ideas, minds open to all possible outcomes and the passion to turn them into music with authentic depth and power’ ~ Dom Lawson, Classic Rock Presents: Prog
Industrial-progressive unit ‘Black Market Serotonin’ release new video single ‘Irons In The Fire’ on Monday 25th February, taken from their debut album ‘Something From Nothing’ released through Superstar Destroyer Records and all digital stores on Monday 29th April 2013.
On Irons In The Fire, Black Market Serotonin deliver their sharpest statement from upcoming full-length Something From Nothing. From an intro that recalls Nine Inch Nails, chorus that could be Origin of Symmetry Muse and wall-of-sound riffage that harks back to the glory days of Tool and Deftones, it’s clear that these guys enjoy the heavier things in life. Wrapped in a veil of rich melodies the overall effect is not the blunt instrument you might expect; it’s surprisingly accessible, even if it’s still music to headbang to.

Born in 2010 and hailing from Manchester, Black Market Serotonin feature the talents of Andrew Pimblott  (Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards/Samples), Lee Campbell (Bass Guitar), and Michael Colman (Drums/Percussion). The trio met during their University days, and aided by their mutual fondness for thoughtful and progressive rock, they soon became firm friends. After many months of intense rehearsals in Colman’s basement fuelled by caffeine, sleep depravation, and a lack of light, the band emerged with their debut EP Deadbyfiveoclock. The record was released in the Spring of 2011 and garnered widespread praise and accolades from many online publications and bloggers.

Now with indie label Superstar Destroyer putting out the record, Something From Nothing will be unleashed on the nation this Spring. Firstly, the band release a taste of things to come – the brand new video single Irons In The Fire which is lifted from the album. ‘Irons’ perfectly showcases the band’s deft ability to unleash a concise piece of engaging post-rock with measured synth work and vocal lines, all to stunning effect. Black Market Serotonin have arrived.

BAND MEMBERS: Andrew Pimblott – Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards/Samples; Lee Campbell – Bass Guitar; Michael Colman – Drums/Percussion.

FOR FANS OF: Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, Tool and Porcupine Tree.
